Effective jobPath & UDEV recruitment

Account deletion requests are handled by UDEV support. You can request deletion here even if you cannot sign in or no longer have the app installed.

1. Send your request

Email bigaboy09@gmail.com with the subject jobPath account deletion request. Say that you want your account and associated personal data deleted. Include your UDEV queue number if you have it. If you do not know it, tell support so they can help locate your account securely.

2. Verify account ownership

Support will arrange verification using the WhatsApp number registered to the account. Do not send your PIN, activation or recovery code, passport, or CV by email. After verifying ownership, we confirm receipt and set a date within 7 days for deleting your active account and associated personal recruitment data and files. Provider copies and applicable audit logs have separate retention, described below.

3. Understand what deletion means

When your verified request is fulfilled, your Candidate account and associated personal data are removed from UDEV's active systems, including your profile and questionnaire answers, saved files, applications, invitations, sharing permissions, notifications and personally identifiable hire records. You will lose access to them. We do not keep personally identifiable hire history simply because you were recruited.

Provider copies and backups

Deleting active data does not instantly erase every underlying provider copy. After data becomes unrecoverable to UDEV and the provider deletion instruction takes effect, applicable Firebase and Google Cloud terms allow up to 180 days for deletion from their systems, unless applicable law requires storage. This period is separate from our 7-day active-data target. Provider copies must not be used to restore your deleted account or recruitment history.

Technical and mandatory audit logs

Technical logs have separate retention. Our current Google Cloud _Default log bucket retains entries for 30 days. Google Cloud's mandatory _Required audit log bucket retains entries for 400 days and does not allow us to shorten that period. These periods do not permit keeping your CV or hire profile as a log. We do not claim all logs are erased within 7 or 180 days.

Employer copies and other records

An employer may already hold a copy of information you shared or downloaded documents. We explain and coordinate any separate employer follow-up that is needed; deleting your UDEV account cannot remotely erase an employer's independent copy. Support copies and local exports also require follow-up. We explain any justified remaining information, its purpose and retention before reporting completion. Recruitment statistics may remain only if they cannot identify you.

Submitting is a separate step

The button opens an email draft. Review and send it in your email app to submit your request. Opening a draft does not submit a request or delete your account. Logging out, withdrawing an application, or resetting your PIN does not delete your account either.
